| Introduction | I'm a daughter, wife and mother. A growing Christian. My husband, Bill and I have been married for 23 years! His parents lived across the street from my parents! It's funny to think of how we were in Jr High and High School! I have a son who is 16, and a daughter who is 12. I'd say I'm a creative soul. I'm always dabbling in something creative, they just don't turn out quite like they do in a magazine clipping I've saved. But as I grow older, I've learned, that's okay. I love to teach people the art of being creative with things. My kids both love to experiment with things. My son is learning to do woodworking, and my daughter is into painting! I think the biggest thing about letting your kids learn to create, is that you don't box them in with too many rules. I also think of myself of a life long learner. I love to observe and watch, esp. people. |
| Interests | Reading, Cross Stitch, Paper Crafts of any kind, spending time with my family and friends, taking our dog Misty for a walk, baking. |
| Favorite movies | I like Tom Hanks. A LOT. I think he is such a strong actor, he can be very funny, he can make me cry, some of his movies make me think. |
| Favorite music | Avalon is probably one of my favorite groups at the moment, but as a student of the piano, from age 6, I still love Classical, some Scott Joplin, and Broadway show tunes! |
| Favorite books | I'd say first, the Bible. I think no matter how many times I read, or who I read it with, I gain a perspective I had never gotten before. I love the big picture it presents and life lessons that challenge us all. I enjoy some fiction authors from time to time, and I'm always reading children's books for my job! |
