| Introduction | Hi, I am a single mom of two children. I have raised them with the help of God being the only parent at home for 16 years. We became a single parent family when they were 1 and 4. In October 2005 I was officially diagnoses with breast cancer. My daughter the younger child almost failed 8th grade, but because of the wonderful CPS teachers she had, she graduated. My son the older child is in college finishing his associates at Truman. He is the quiet type so his struggles thru my cancer were not heard by the world. It is taking him longer to finish college because he needs to find his own way in life. The hair you see me with is only 3 years old. It started growing back from bald aprox April 2006. I am a Board of Governors student at Northeaster U, and I just started my own business with Mary Kay Cosmetics.
