Alice Russell

| Introduction | Alice Russell holds an M. Ed. and B. Mus. and B Ed. from the University of Manitoba, and an Associate in Music - Singer/Performer/Teacher, from the Western Board of Music. She has taught music in the St. James-Assiniboia School Division for 25 years, at Ecole Bannatyne, Bruce Middle School, Lincoln Middle School, and currently at Westwood Collegiate, where she teaches choir, vocal jazz, and musical theatre. Her choirs have won awards at the Winnipeg Music Festival, and at MusicFest Canada. She has been a clinician at the Manitoba Music Educators’ TEMPO Conference and Choralfest MB, and has been the guest conductor for the Junior Provincial Honour Choir. Outside of her music life, Alice’s enjoyment of running, swimming and cycling has led her to complete the occasional triathlon, and most recently, she and her family cycled 90k in the Rocky Mountains at the Banff Gran Fondo. |
