| Introduction | My name is Joanie, and I'm a midwest farmer's daughter. I married a city boy from Chicago and we have two wonderful children. We are newly anointed empty nesters, but replaced our chicks as they left the nest with two adorable pugs. I started this blog a few years ago to post my daily thoughts while on a medical mission trip to Haiti. Since then, it has morphed into very random thoughts, ramblings and rants, all of which will lead you to believe that I truly am forever circling normal. |
