| Introduction | I live in a post and beam house surrounded by 10,000 acres of state forest with (and built by) my husband Vito, my lovely daughter, Julia, my Corgi, Sadie, two rascally cats, Topaz and Nimo, and six Pekin ducks. We get visited by bears, coyote, lots of racoons, weasels, fox, mink, deer, and too many birds to mention. We have a large pond next to the house which attracts a wide variety of birdlife and all manner of things that swim, crawl, wiggle and fly. And of course...beavers. My gorgeous older daughter Clair lives with her beau Joe in the Albany area. |
