Introduction	Hi, my name is Chelsea, I'm 24 years old. In my old life I was a law student, a sister, daughter, friend and girlfriend, an avid movie goer and fan of dining out. I enjoyed walking my collie and swimming. In my new life, after a 7 month battle with MRSA and powerful prescription drugs, I am confined to a rent-a-center lift chair, use a platform walker to walk about 100 steps a day, and depend on people to care for me, essentially 24 hours a day. With the help of my loved ones, I am slowly piecing my life back together and plan to return to school in the fall no matter what obstacles I have to wind my way through. This is the sometimes sad, often times funny, and all the time honest story of my battle with MRSA, from life to almost death and everything in between.
