| Introduction | Well we are the Doughty Family. There's Fiona and Stephen and their children Maya and Hannah and we are doing a canoe trip down the Mackenzie River for three months from the 13th of June 2011 until the 2nd of September. This blog is so we can catch up with people back home and share everything we've done with them. The Blog is named The Deh Cho Expedition because "Deh Cho" is the First Nation's name for The Mackenzie River and quite fittingly means "Big River". We think this sums up the challenge we've set ourselves nicely; To paddle down a very big river! Wish us luck! While we're out there it'd be nice to hear from you all back home.
