IntroductionI am a city girl, born and raised in Victoria, BC. I have recently moved out to a semi-rural area and am re-discovering the important things. Food, friends, and living simply. I have fallen in love with my yard and am learning to garden. Sharing with the deer is a treat. Spending time with my Nephew and Nieces is the most important part of my weekly schedule and we always try to have way too much fun when we are together. While I am working my way through my cookbooks and learning about gardening and life, I will be keeping this journal of my adventures.
