| Introduction | A veteran broadcaster, writer and public relations professional, McKillips has served as a sportswriter for the Cleveland Plain Dealer and has called more than 500 play-by-play broadcasts of football and basketball. He currently reports on Atlanta pro and collegiate sports for a variety of networks including Associated Press Radio Sports and MLB Radio on Sirius/XM. He is a member of the advisory board of the American Sportscasters Association (ASA). His public realtions activities have included stints as vice president, corporate and sports PR for Turner Broadcasting System; vice president of public affairs for Contel and head of PR for the University of Tennessee and Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business. He is a regular contributor to the Atlanta Business Chronicle and a member of the prestigious College of Fellows of the Public Relations Society of America. He is also a member of the Georgia Public Relations Hall of Fame. He played CBS sportscaster Jack Whitaker in the ABC/ESPN prime-time motion picture Ruffian. |
