| Introduction | Please join me on our adoption journey, as well as our journey with Hemophilia. Our daughter Alexis is 15, and our son, Max, is 18 months old. He was diagnosed with Severe Hemophilia A. This is not quite as scarey as it sounds, as treatment now has much improved since my brother, who also had Hemophilia, lost his fight with the disease 16 years ago due to a brain hemorrhage. Now that my son is diagnosed, and I know his quality of life will be so much better, and almost "normal"; and now that my life will revolve around this thing called "Hemophilia"...it just makes sense that since we want to add to our family, that we do it this way...lets save a life that needs saving and lets raise 2 little boys together through this Hemophilia journey. So, here we go...join us on our journey and first and foremost lets get "Kyle" home from China! |
