Introduction	My name is Katie. I’m married to a fantastic man and we have an incredible daughter. My happy place is laying in bed on a Saturday morning, snuggling with those two. I grew up in a close family. My mom died a few years ago and I thought it might break me, but I’m very blessed to still have my dad and brother around. Family is – and always will be – my number one. Husband and I bought a sweet little house in 2011. It’s nearly 80 years old and the projects here are endless. One of my favorite things to do in my limited free time is to work on this place. If I’m not working on it (because sometimes I’m just too tired and because TV), I’m probably working on a plan for it. I daydream about cookies, seriously. I found a recipe for these fantastic Oreo-stuffed chocolate chip cookies and they rock. my. world. But really, I’ll take any kind of cookie, ok? This has no bearing on this blog, but it’s an important part of my life and needed to be mentioned.
