| Interests | I am an avid reader. I receive great joy from gardening..I have a farm and grow many herbs, vegetables and perennials. I love to design and make jewelry with natural stones, glass beads, and crystals.I am an expert at crocheting by now, starting at age 10, and now I can knit. I love to learn. I am a seeker of authenticity in myself and with others. |
| Favorite movies | I whole heartedly enjoy the Thin Man series with Wm. Powell & Myrna Loy. I am into old movies, Cary Grant, Humphrey Bogart; Bette Davis,& so forth. I am addicted to English murder mysteries starting with Sherlock Holmes,(I have read the work of Doyle); Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot and Midsummer Murders. I also love fairy tales and sci-fi, so the Secret Garden,Fairy Tales, Enchanted April,Anne of Green Gables series,Star Wars,Harry Potter, who doesn't love Harry, Willow, Also the classics: Gone With the Wind, An Affair to Remember, Breakfast at Tiffany's. |
| Favorite music | Music from the 50's, 60's 70's 80's...no rap for me. I love Jazz, easy rock. Smoke from a Different Fire is my favorite and Whiter Shade of Pale...these 2 touch my soul. |
| Favorite books | I read voraciously. I love novels, best sellers, anything that has to do with psychology, philosophy, theology. I like Frederic Neiche, Martin Heidegger, Ken Wilber, Enlightenment Magazine, Carolyn Myss, Marianne Williamson, some Matthew Fox. I do read some new agey authors, but mostly not. I absorbed most of the books written by the people interviewed on the DVD Down the Rabbit Hole, regardign quantum physics, Candice Pert, Joe DiSperenza, Fred Wolf, Ramtha. I am re-reading Freud's original work. I wander through Lawrence Sanders, Sue Grafton, Sue Monk Kidd, and others in the summer. |
