About me

Introduction	Steve is an adult with ADHD who before the age of 16 had 3 juvenille records and spent some time in Juvenille Detention. In school he was deemed gifted and a behavior problem. This personal experience combined with his professional experience gives Steve a unique insight into ADHD and behavior concerns. Steve has worked in the education field for over 15 years, 10 of those years as an Educational Assistant. He is a widely used and quoted Behavior Management/Autism consultant for various local agencies. He has over 13 years experience with special populations in school, group home and institutional environments. He is an associate faculty at Conestoga College of Applied Arts, and adisor to the Ontario Human Rights Commission. He brings a strong and enthusiastic presentation to the many speaking engagements he does throughout the province. He is also the author of numerous articles on Special Needs and Restraint issues and he is the co-founder (with Ed Mahony) of Exceptional-Needs Solutions.
