| Introduction | Came back to California from Alaska to watch my best friend die of cancer and now surviving by rolling coins and food stamps. The dreams are all basically dead and it's better that way. Basically I'm far left of center, politically incorrect and hold very few things sacred.....in other words I didn't quite turn out to be the good catholic girl they wanted me to be. Latest diagnosis is not depression, it's Bipolar 2. At least now I can threaten to tweak my meds and turn into hypomaniac super bitch - complete with purple leopard cape spreading mayhem, carnage and cocktails. Why the hell couldn't I have Bipolar 1 and have some fun Charlie Sheen moments? |

| Favorite movies | Hedwig and the Angry Inch, anything by John Waters or Mel Brooks. American Beauty, Once Were Warriors, The Women (1939 version only), Kalifornia, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Usually I HATE any Hollywood crap "movie" carried only by special effects and McDonald's happy meal promotions. |
| Favorite music | Very eclectic - classic rock, alternative, jazz, blues, swing, americana, rock, lo-fi, standards, classic r&b/soul, some hip-hop......i gave up on pop music/top 40 when paris hilton and her ilk popped up on the charts. Anything by Mark Knopfler, Springsteen, Nirvana, Tina Turner, Courtney Love, The Pretenders and B-52's are always on a playlist. |
