| Introduction | I am a social worker who has found her passion as a jewelry and handbag designer. Designing jewelry and bags fill a strong creative muse. Working with beads of all types, ethnic, semi-precious gemstones and organic with sterling silver components allow me to create wearable art jewelry. In my world travels I find the most beautiful and unusual beads. I am most intrigued with the diversity and freedom that wire work offers, it is incorporated in many of my creations. My inspiration comes from the everyday patterns and textures that most of us take for granted. The beads and fabrics speak to me in the design process. There is a distinctive African influence in my work. Handbags and purses were introduced in Spring 2008. |
