| Introduction | Born and raised in the south, I have always enjoyed singing. While singing in choirs and performing with ensembles in church, I caught the performance bug. At Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, I majored in vocal performance (graduating with a B.M. in 2001) and a few years later attended the University of Louisville to continue my studies. Since graduation I have been teaching voice lessons from my home. My husband is a composer and I enjoy performing his music as well as other art songs and opera arias. We have 2 children, Katie Grace (7) and Hunter (5) and a dog named Walt. |
