| Introduction | Bo Erik and Shennendoah Hollsten are the co-creators of NeuroKids Foundation (www.NeuroKids.org) a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that offers free educational materials to kids (of all ages) interested in learning about the brain. Bo Erik and Shennendoah started the first-ever, kid-initiated brain awareness program, WEEK OF THE BRAIN, a free program that schools can adopt and celebrate at their schools. NeuroKids helps link schools and educators to neuroscientists, academics, and other specialists in neuroscience. NeuroKids also provides free, downloadable books, booklets, pamphlets, and resources that can be used in the classroom. Bo Erik and Shennendoah have been featured in Parent's Magazine, on Radio Disney, and other news and media sites. They have won awards for educating area youth, published books, and served as key speakers at the BeMoneySmart business course for children. |
