Introduction	I am a devoted mother of two, and I'm a Graduate student. I have just started working toward a Master's in Language Acquisition and Literacy. I have been inspired to return to exploring my own reading and writing, embarking on a literacy journey, more specifically, a cultural literacy journey. If I impress only one thing upon any reader of this blog, it is that Literacy is not confined to the act of reading and writing text. Literacy is ever evolving as our culture evolves. Literacy is cultural and multicultural. We have many literacies that are components of our overall literacy. And our Literacy affects every facet of our life.
