Introduction	I am a wife and mother of three children, two high school sons and one kindergarten daughter. I have been teaching since 2002 in a large urban middle school. I enjoying learning and trying new things and sharing new ideas with others. I am highly involved in my community and live in a neighborhood that still greets each other, stands around outside visiting and looks out for each other as neighbors should. I started this blog as part of a requirement for a master's class to experience web 2.0 tools and discuss education topics with other educators and hopefully one day make connections with others who are both like minded for support and those with opposing viewpoints so that I never stop challenging myself to learn, seek new information, adopt better ideas and stay on the top of my educational game.

Favorite music	I like most genre's of music, but two favorite artists are Roberta Flack and Frank Sinatra.
Favorite books	Pride & Prejudice, Fahrenheit 451

You can whistle and steam can whistle, so why do you sing in the shower?

Because the acoustics are better there than anywhere else other than my car, and at least I am alone in the shower so no one else has to suffer.
