| Introduction | My interest in science and engineering started when I was about 4 or 5 years old. I was fascinated by running water and built more and more elaborate contraptions to observe its flow. When I was 10 my older brother bought me some wire, a bulb and bulb-holder, and a battery. I was captivated and visualised the electric flow in a similar way to water - current and voltage being analogous to current and pressure. I still visualise it this way. In my teens, I experimented with chemistry and electronics and was fascinated by geology. I continued to educate myself and started businesses related to electrical and electronics engineering. I design and produce products with advanced microprocessors, some of which use cloud services. Tens of thousands of my products are sited in Europe and USA. The Coronavirus pandemic allowed me to get deeper into genetics and to do research related to the evolution-creation debate. I had bought various books on the subject but found many arguments relatively trivial. I was keen to do my own research and analyse broader issues that were more fundamental. This resulted in a discussion document which is online at www.bennettfamily.org.uk/evolution |
