Introduction Radiah Hubbert is the co-founder of UrbanReviewsOnline.com & BlackBookReleases.com. UrbanReviewsOnline.com was founded by Radiah with her late husband Charles in July 2005 in order to promote African-American fiction through posting book reviews, new releases, events, author interviews, and contests. Radiah has won several awards including the Brenda Hampton Honorary Literacy Award , and two Black Pearls Excellence Awards. Radiah has been an avid reader for years and loved to meet her favorite authors at book signings. In 2008, the annual Great Midwest Book Fest was born to bring avid readers together to meet their favorite authors and to meet new authors. The Great Midwest Book Fest is an annual book fest that is held in the Milwaukee, WI area that features African-American authors who sell their own books.
