| Introduction | Hi there! Thanks for dropping by. My name is Paren Indravadan Shah-some of my school pals call me and perhaps know me better as... Padu!. Born in Bombay, I am now a Citizen of Singapore and reside in sunny California. I am a Mechanical Design Engineer(and damn proud to be one). As a young boy I lived in Juhu-Bombay, India and I went to Jamnabai Narsee School, those were the best days of my life. I studied Mechanical engineering in Poona and California, but Jamnabai is where I learnt a lot more than engineering. Although I graduated as an engineer, I learnt real engineering in the slums and shabby industries in Goregaon.This is where I graduated as a 'real' engineer and a 'man'. I learnt the importance of originality, innovation and ingenuity at the Division of Remote Handling and Robotics-Bhabha Atomic Research Center-where I met and learnt from many fine engineers and scientists. I am currently in Menlo Park, CA designing and inventing implantable robots and medical devices. |
