| Introduction | Malaysian Dravidian Association is one of the pioneer Indian based non-govermental organisations in Malaysia. It was formally registered in 1946 aiming to propagate the philosophy of Thanthai Periyar and to reform the Tamil masses in Malaysia. It also conducts Self-Respect Marriages. Apart from that it was also instrumental in the introduction of Law Reform and Marriage Act 1982. |
