Introduction	I am on a journey of self-discovery and rebirth. Married, and Mom to two beautiful children, 13 and 9. The challenges I face as a mom, well, they build my character. I have discovered more about myself in the last year or so than in my entire life. No longer passive, but not domineering, bowed, but never broken. To be a 39 year old mom of two, both delivered by C-section, I would say I'm in pretty darn fab-u-lous shape! My goal is to become a successful writer and entrepeneur. UPDATE: My journey continues. I am now 42 (will be 43 Oct. 16) and am a widow; I'm sad to report my husband passed away last November. And so it goes...

Favorite music	Gospel, R&B, (some)Rap/Hip-Hop. I like Marvin Sapp, Tye Tribbett, Mary Mary; Lil Wayne, TI, Chris Brown, Ludacris, Nicki Minaj, Alicia Keys, T-Pain, Trey Songz and Mary J. Blige, to name a few.
Favorite books	The J.P. Beaumont series by J.A. Jance; The Color Purple; At Jesus' Feet; anything by Terry McMillan
