| Introduction | I had cancer when I was 12. My mother had cancer at the same time and helped me to deal with the disease. Within 6 years I had survuved, but she did not. 25 years later, to honor her and my gift...my second chance at life, I walked the distance of 17.25 marathons(452 miles)across Michigan in only 18 days to raise awareness about cancer prevention and money for a cure. This life-changing journey was a celebration of my life and my victory over cancer. I called it, "The Victory Walk". |
| Interests | I want to establish, or collaborate with, a charity that helps children all over the world to overcome economic hardship through education, and I want to find a way to provide access to medical treatment for the children who need it, especially the hundreds of thousands of children in developing countries who die of cancer each year because they have do not have access to treatment. |
