Introduction	I was always fascinated by military airplanes and the people who flew them ever since growing up near Hammer Field(now the Fresno Air Terminal)in the 1950's.I learned to fly in an Aeronca Champ at 16,was a pilot for many years for a large company. I was lucky enough to fly in the California Army National Guard for over 20 yrs as a Warrant Officer, both helicopters and airplanes.Military aviation and old planes are still a passion to me.
