| Introduction | I am Cyndy Coleman Marshall, the blogger. Formerly a rancher from Harney County Oregon. On June 3, 2005 I married long time friend Ansel Marshall. In May of 2004, Ansel's beloved wife of 64 years, Martina, passed away from breast cancer. Sadly 10 mo later Terry, Ansel's son who was caring for him, was killed in an tragic car accident. Consequently Ansel asked me to marry him, saying it just made sense, "he was alone and I was alone, we both loved horses, and we had known each other for 20 years..." What I have learned is that when God is trying to bless you, don't question the packaging. :0) We married June 3, 2005 and live in Bend, Oregon. One thing Ansel said he had learned in life, is that we don't know what tomorrow will bring, or how many more days in this lifetime that we will have and he didn't want to wait to get married. We have some acreage just outside of the city limits. Ansel still has a few horses that he still feeds every day. I feel that it's the daily care of the horses that has gotten him through these later years in his life. Thus the name of the blog... "energizer bunny in 4 low". He doesn't go very far very fast, but he keeps going. |
