| Introduction | Author is a Chartered Engineer and business graduate who since entering the City in the ‘70’s has researched a wide variety of companies and sectors for the institutions. Having in the ’90’s edited for 6 years the Investor Stockmarket Weekly, and later for two years Small Cap Shares, and more recently having researched mining stocks for corporate finance and other purposes, he believe there is too little informed research on mining available to the average private investor (not to mention for professionals !). He believes what little there is tends to be by brokers pushing their own clients, or via public relations platforms which, very good as they are, are not necessarily as objective as they should be, and don’t monitor all stocks so as to highlight the choices. |
