| Introduction | My name is Rory. I've devoted my life to palliative care (having previously worked at the BBC and in Formula 1). I first began volunteering at my local hospice when I was in primary school and secured my first paid job (washing plates) at age 14. A short while after my 18th Birthday I became a care assistant and began training as a nurse a couple of years later. I'm currently a Senior Nurse in a large hospice in the North of England and spend most of my spare time studying for a masters degree and networking with other palliative care geeks. |
