| Introduction | I guess I’m the baby of the group. I entered the dating game a bit later than my friends here. My focus was always on school, and it has only been recently that I have pushed my insecurities to the side and “gotten out there!” Obviously, then, I have less experience in matters of the heart. But I’m on my way to making up for lost time! I’m a 28 year old attorney. I get told that men find this intimidating. I am NOT intimidating. I am sweetly sarcastic and appreciate a man who can “keep up” with me in conversation. I tend to give people (especially men) the benefit of the doubt. I’ve been known to get “handsy” when I drink and get bad cases of beer goggles. I am instantly attracted to the musician/artsy guy with longish hair, a scruffy beard, a piercing or two and tats. I also want a guy that has a good and steady job and has a stable lifestyle. I realize that those are usually opposing forces, and I’m working my way through that! I haven’t lost my optimism and still believe that everything always works out as it should. While my girlfriends never fail to share with me their advice and lessons learned, I have found that I have to experience them myself to really learn them. |
