| Introduction | Many people have turned to using medical marijuana in order to treat their health conditions. There are currently 36 states in the United States that have legalized the use of medical marijuana, and 14 of those states have also legalized recreational use of marijuana for all adults over the age of 21. However, it is important to keep in mind that not all states' medical marijuana programs are created equally. While it is easier to apply and be approved for a medical marijuana card than ever before, there are still a lot of hoops that one has to jump through, especially in certain states where medical marijuana laws and regulations are more strict. If you have been dealing with chronic pain or a medical condition that interrupts your daily life, you may be able to qualify for using a medical marijuana card in your state. Like I said, the qualifying conditions change from state to state, and one condition that is treatable with medical marijuana in one state may not be in a bordering state. I know it’s dumb, but it is the current marijuana world we are living in. This also means that applying for a medical marijuana card does not guarantee that you’ll get one. |
