| Introduction | Hi my name is Alice, I live in the Northern Rivers region on the east coast of Australia. I am in my early 30's and while I had achieved much in my life I was experiencing underlying health issues such as bouts of Anxiety and Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). I then experienced a serious car accident, causing injuries and I knew there was something deep I needed to explore and heal so I decided to quit my job in rainforest conservation, leave my fiance at home and face it. I wanted to find true freedom. With this in mind I head off to Latin America with a list of wishes and intentions and a ticket to the Amazon, Peru for a healing journey with traditional Shipibo healers and a healing plant called Ayahuasca. What I found was more than I could have ever imagined.
