| Introduction | I work as a features editor for The Utah Statesman, a college newspaper in the coldest part of Utah. I hope to get a job at Borders during the summer because, let's be honest, books are the foam on my beer of life. I will graduate in spring 2009 with a bachelor's degree in journalism with a print emphasis as well as an American Studies degree with a creative writing emphasis. I have worked for The Utah Statesman for more than a year as a staff writer, assistant features editor, and features editor. I understand that deadlines are holy and keeping an organized schedule of stories helps the rest of the editing team lower their stress levels. I eventually want to work for a magazine, whether it be writing or messing with the layout. I have a working knowledge of InDesign, newspaper layout experience, assigning story ideas, editing and writing stories. |

Your hand has been replaced by a rubber stamp. What does it say?
"If you're late on a deadline without good reason, you're fired." But a personal stamp would say, "Follow your bliss."
