| Introduction | Life begins at 60 I have discovered. I have set myself more challenges since turning 60 than at any time before. Maybe something to do with the realization of the sands of time running out and that nothing worthwhile is achieved without some risk. After a challenging and exhilarating pilgrimage in 2010 on the Camino Francis and walking over 400 kms over the Pyrenees and northern Spain to Leon I returned to Spain to complete my journey from Sarria to Santiago in April 2013. This blog sets out my thoughts on the preparation for the journey and the trip. |
