Introduction	Kevin Chapdelaine is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where he studied Political Science and Economics. He is particularly interested in the political economy of the United States, such as pertains to the welfare state and energy and the environment. Kevin also has interests in the historical evolution of American political ideologies and movements, particularly the philosophical roots of liberalism and the emergence of the modern conservative movement. In addition to his academic interests, Kevin is an avid U2 fan, a musically inept lover of classical music, a frustrated tennis player, an occasional bicyclist, and a Boston sports junkie. He lives in southeastern Massachusetts.
