Introduction	The most important thing about me is what God has done for me and how He has changed my heart and life. On August 4, 1990 I read specific passages in God's Word that showed me I was undone and headed for an eternity without Him in hell. That day, I read Hebrews 9:22 which states, "without the shedding of blood there is no remission [of sin]." And, Romans 10:12, "For whoever will call upon the name of the LORD will be saved." I realized that Jesus Christ was an historical Person Who came to die for the sins of the world (for me) and trusted God at His Word, calling upon Him to save me. I dropped my baggage and preconceived notions and simply trusted Him from His word, which is the only source of Truth. I was, as the Bible states it, born again. John 3:7 says, "Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again.'" John 1:12, 13 tells us, "But as many as received Him, to them gave He the right to become the children of God, to those who believe on His name, who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."
