| Introduction | 清華大學外語系畢業，獲Fulbright學人獎助赴美進修，現為聲動劇場團長、聲動樂團主唱。喜歡打破表演範疇，於舞蹈、戲劇、器樂、人聲中悠遊，在實驗創新的風格中，總是潛藏著古老靈魂的吟唱，作品關懷人文、富涵詩意靈性與對女性大地的吟詠。劇場代表作：《當河流相遇海洋》、《河唱》、《天亮之前》、《最小的花》、《遍處》，受邀於紐約、澳洲藝術節演出及教學。與聲動樂團巡演歐美十多國家的藝術節，受訪Discovery、BBC等國際媒體，錄製有三張音樂專輯《小宇宙》、《心的航行》、《微星之光》。擅長與劇場、電影、裝置藝術、時尚設計等跨界合作，同時以藝術方式參與人權自由、和平、環保等社會議題。表演以外，帶領創造與自我探索工作坊。--------- Choreographer and vocalist Mia Hsieh draws creative inspiration from her roots in Asian sound and movement as well as an assimilation of experimental and improvisational arts forms. Her vocal influences range from ethnic to experimental music. She sings with a deep emotion that reaches beyond words. Mia has collaborated with visual artists, film directors, fashion designers, and created site specific works. Mia was featured on The Discovery Channel and is the vocalist of the internationally recognized A Moving Sound music ensemble performing in many respected festival in Europe, north and central America, more than 15 countries. “Mia’s voice guides the listener through vast expanses of emotion and stillness.
