| Introduction | Welcome to my art blog! I'm so glad you decided to visit. My name is Abby and this is where I journal about my art projects. I am a mixed-media artist, painter and art journaler. I also like to make soft sculpture animals, dollhouses, alter items and make other little musings. Some of my other hobbies are quilting and crocheting. I'm an avid collector and enjoy antiquing. Some of the vintage items I collect are lace, millinery and sewing supplies; tea cups, pearls, jewelry, plates, silverware, and children's books, etc. My favorite song comes from the sounds of nature; birds singing in the rain; and the rustling of the waves in the ocean. My favorite escape is in my art studio playing in my imaginary world. I believe we all have some creativity within us and we are blessed when we are brave enough to share it with the world. |
