| Introduction | Hi,my name is Sherrie. I'm writing this blog to share my recipes, crafts and ideas on living simply with others.I have 3 sons,The two eldest are out living on their own ! Just the three of us at home now !I love trying to reinvent ways to use what others just throw away , I love recycling , trying to be as green as I can !Trying to do my bit to help look after our beautiful country we live in ! I really enjoy the simple quiet life out in the bush! We live on a 25 acre property in the south west, which is so lovely and peaceful, with all the wild life which is lovely but they eat what we try to grow which can be a little frustrating ! thats life ! Having 30 solar panels and getting paid for the power we make is very exciting, we now get cheques in the mail every 2 months instead of bills. We use our own water from a rainwater tank and a bore. so no bills in that area. In the process of setting up vegetable gardens using our 90 cubic metre rain water tank. Also plan to make a chicken coop from part of the water tank . so stay tuned for plenty of updates. |
