| Introduction | I am a journalist in the purest sense of the word: I keep journals. I am a writer in a more conventional way: I have published a book about my experiences living on a Caribbean island for more than 20 years. I was born in Panama, but it was when I moved to Curaçao that I knew I was meant to live in the Tropics. The lifestyle suited me perfectly. The slow pace became a way of life; I learned to stop and look around me and enjoy the beauty of the Tropics everyday. Now, I have Panama in my sights. Moving there is becoming a plan! |
