| Introduction | I’m an author and a lifelong journalist who has written for such publications as The New York Times. I've recently completed a book about the Boston Red Sox entitled, "It Was Never About the Babe," for Skyhorse Publishing Inc., of New York City, released in March 2009. Nominated for more than 30 broadcast news awards between 1980-1987, I’ve concentrated on print journalism since 1988. I’ve worked in radio and television news and sports in Boston, MA; Concord, NH; Worcester, MA and Charlottesville, VA. I've worked at a number of daily newspapers including The Stuart (FL) News; The Daily Commercial (Leesburg, FL); The Griffin (GA) Daily News; and the Chronicle (Willimantic, CT). I covered the 1980 Winter Olympics, and have covered the Celtics, the Bruins, the Red Sox, the Patriots, NASCAR, the Braves and the Falcons. |
