Introduction	Welcome to my blog. I love to use my creativity to repurpose vintage finds into beautiful and useful items for the home. Many years ago when I finished college, i had to furnish an apartment with no money. I picked up antique furniture and carefully restored it so I would have beautiful things. Today I love to paint furniture with European hand-waxed finishes, collect vintage china and dishes and design wool folk art. I took a break from blogging for awhile as i returned to the classroom to teach full time this fall, but I have decided to make sure i find time to do what brings me happy.
