Introduction	I grew up in the Washington, DC area as one of the biggest sports fans out there. However, when I was just a kid, I went to a Capitals/Canadiens game where the Caps won. I fell in love and the rest was history; hockey has been my favorite sport almost my entire life. Not too much later on, I decided to pursue a career in sports journalism and chose to go to American University, majoring in broadcast journalism, where I still attend. Since then, I have come to own this blog, cover the Washington Capitals and other NHL news for The Hockey Writers and report on high school sports for the Washington Post.
