He is certified as a Sofer for both Kesivah and Hagoah by one of the leading experts in Safrus, Rabbi Avrohom Tzvi Vosner, Rav of the Vad Mishmeres Sta”m. Prior to founding the Sofer Center, Rabbi Kass was employed at a Sofer Sta”m in Brooklyn Ny. As a full-time Sofer, he gained extensive hands on experience writing, checking, and repairing all STa”M (Sifrei Torah, Tefillin, and Mezuzos).
