Introduction I teach sewing to the youth in the San Francisco Bay area, running a successful after school program in Alameda, and directing a thriving Summer Camp business in Alameda and San Francisco. I also teach pattern making at San Francisco Campus of CCA (California College of the Arts) in the Fashion Department. In working with Tweens I've found that there is a need for both stylish and somewhat easy patterns for that kids can tackle and complete in short periods of time. There attention span can be somewhat limited :-) So, I developed eight patterns to start off and will be adding more as I go along. Keep your eyes out for my newest venture - 18" doll patterns in the same eight styles and more. What fun for your dolls to be wearing the same great styles as you! I have a brick and mortar store that I share with my friend and colleague Desiree Salas. It's called the Sewing Room and Style Lounge. We are at 2434 Webb Avenue in Alameda and you can visit us Friday, Saturday and Sunday from Noon-6pm.
