Introduction Hayley-Jo Carr is a PADI Course Director & Marine conservationist who has taught a wide range of programs in a variety of countries. With a BA (hons) Degree in Sport & Recreation Studies with Community Studies from Exeter University Hayley’s focus has been on community management with marine conservation. Hayley has been the driving force behind many projects involving sharks, sea turtles, marine debris & coral restoration. She works with divers, schools, organisations and businesses to help develop their marine programs and events. As a PADI Course Director Hayley trains new Scuba Diving Instructors with an emphasis in marine conservation, training them to be able to teach specialty marine programs. Hayley specializes and teaches the following courses up to Instructor level; Invasive Lionfish Removal, Dive Against Debris, Sea Turtle Awareness, Coral Nursery Restoration & Shark Conservation. She also authored the Reef Rescue Diver Course which is being taught throughout the Reef Rescue Network. Hayley has extensive experience in coral nursery management and techniques. Hayley is also a National Wildlife & Conservation Committee Member for The Bahamas.
