| Introduction | While driving on a bridge one day, suddenly it hit me, right as another vehicle was speeding directly toward me in my lane, that I might die. And then, after head trauma and uncertainty and lots of doctors and the support of many kind people, something else hit me: I was still very much alive, with a lot left that I wanted to do. During my recuperation time, I decided to more avidly address the items on my "bucket list," one of which was to start a blog. My head occasionally still feels like it was hit by a wrecking ball, and sometimes the room still spins, and sometimes -- Did you know one of my new nicknames is "Random?" -- I have no idea what I was just talking about. But that's okay, because I think I should check out the burning smell coming from the kitchen--I seem to have left the stove on again. |
