| Introduction | I'm a farm girl at heart. There's no better feeling than a Nebraska wind whipping my hair and dirt under my feet. I left our family farm when I went to college and there I met my sweet hubs, who I married and have been smitten with ever since. Over 10 years later, we are now raising 3 boys, and living for today while dreaming (and trying to plan) for tomorrow. Our worst nightmare happened when our third child, our only daughter, Amelia, was stillborn at 36 weeks. We will forever carry the pain of not having her here with us, but by God's grace we are trusting Him. God has used life's ugly circumstances to show me just how much I could love this sweet husband of mine. Just how much goodness can be poured into one person, a person I get to spend my life with. I love being his wife, and I love being able to stay home with my boys, O, Ev, and Archer. Somedays I don't really know what happened to the carefree and breezy farm girl of yester-year, but I know that she is still in there. God is stretching her and teaching her. He's using this farm girl for His purposes, and I am hoping to serve Him well. |
| Interests | My family, my friends, people I have just met, people I have known for years, funny people, serious people, babies, families, kids, sisters, brothers, moms, dads, grandparents, single people, married people... pretty much people, in general. I also like cooking, but I would like it a lot better if I didn't have to do it so often. I love volleyball, and I like golf. Sometimes I hate golf, but only when I am actually playing it. I always love volleyball though. I have an interest in reading, just very little time for it. I have more than an interest in going to church, learning more about God and His plan for my life, and teaching my kids about God. I would call that a passion. |

You're going to the moon! What did you forget to pack?
Why is it always about what we forget to pack? We get somewhere, and I have packed for the kids, my husband, and me, and it never fails... "Oh, you didn't pack my ____________." Never mind the 517 other items I remembered!!!
