| Introduction | LD and I both grew up in California, and met at UC Davis where we both got our B.S. degrees. After spending about a year and a half in the "real world" working for various Federal agencies, we both decided to return to school. LD got her M.S. and Ph.D. degree in fisheries and wildlife biology from Mizzou. I got my M.S. in Zoology from Ohio State, and a Ph.D. at Mizzou. LD volunteers as a canine search specialist with the Missouri Task Force 1 FEMA Urban Search and Rescue team. I reluctantly get talked into volunteering as their "victim", and enjoy running, camping, and hiking (not that I have done done much of that since we bought the house). |
