Introduction Dr Christian Dunn is a university lecturer and researcher on wetland science and biogeochemistry. His PhD looked at maximising carbon sequestration in peatlands, geoengineering and climate change.
Christian is interested in all aspects of wetland science from treatment wetlands to wetland zoology, and thawing peat-permafrost in the Arctic to enzyme activities in Floridian mangroves.
Other research interests include ecology, climate, soil science and agriculture.
For several years Christian worked as a news reporter and became the digital editor for a regional newspaper group where he launched a series of award-winning websites.

Christian Dunn is a regular 'expert' for the BBC Wildlife Magazine and does a variety of other press work, especially for BBC Radio Wales.
